BUILT TO OUTPERFORM

Since 1930, we’ve built KOBELCO excavators to be leaders in the industry, adding innovation to our machines at every turn. Here’s just a few of the ways we’re staying ahead of the competition.

360-DEGREE SIGHTLINES

At the end of the day, safety is ultimately in the hands of the operator. That’s why KOBELCO engineered way to lower the rear hood of our machines and remove cab supports to put a single window on the right – all while maintaining the integrity of the Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) and Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS). Operators now have nearly a 360-degree view around them to see and avoid obstacles, putting responsibly squarely in their hands instead of spotters.

INDUSTRY-LEADING FUEL ECONOMY

Our latest Generation 10 machines now boast a 10% boost in fuel efficiency in S- and an additional 6% in ECO-mode when compared to their predecessors. Plus it comes with a 7% increase in work volume per hour. This leap in efficiency and fuel economy is all possible thanks to advances in electronic engine control and a unique hydraulic regeneration system converts boom downforce to outward force. In a typical year, a KOBELCO Generation 10 machine could save you thousands of dollars in fuel consumption.

KOMEXS

Our KOMEXS technology makes managing your machines easier than ever. In additional to providing the exact location of every excavator your own, the KOMEXS website and app can help you monitor a machine’s performance, monitor fuel consumption, and keep on top of maintenance and service requirements to plan ahead to minimize downtime.

INTEGRATED NOISE AND DUST REDUCTION (iNDr)

Quieter, cooler and cleaner. KOBELCO’s proprietary iNDr noise and dust reduction technology eliminates three of the biggest headaches of excavator operations.

Unlike other machines, KOBELCO excavators have an enclosed engine compartment. Air is only introduced through a dust filter, preventing it from coating components and causing them to heat up and affect performance. The low noise is ideal for urban environments and operator comfort, while a cleaner and cooler engine enhances reliability and minimizes machine downtime.
